We would like to help people come into a relationship with God the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ. It is important to be able to reach children for Christ at an early age. We have a great pastor for children and youth, and great programs in place to be able to reach them. There is not a price tag on these camps, we simply ask for a love offering so that no youth is excluded from participating.
Cowboy Youth Camps
This is a 5 day camp for ages 12-18. They are taught the basic principles of horsemanship; how to groom, bridle, and saddle. It is important for them to know how to care for their horse and properly tack the horse. Then, they are taught how to rein and ride. They build a relationship with the horse and they put on a rodeo at the end of the week. Each youth will run barrels, poles, and flags. It is a great week for the kids who get to experience the life of the old west and enjoy riding a horse.
Trade Camps
This is a 5 day camp for ages 12 – 18. They are taught the basic principles of a particular trade. They will learn some skills that will help their future and build their confidence. It is important for our youth to have work ethics and and self worth. They will find abilities they didn’t know they had, find their strengths, and overcome their weaknesses. At the end of the week, they see the results of the their accomplishments and hear the appreciation for their hard work.
